Jewish Schools Tackling Homophobia
Jewish LGBT-rights group Keshet UK have made a considerable symbolic move by having the “Some people are gay. Get over it” campaign poster translated into Hebrew and hung at a Jewish school in London.
The Get Over It campaign was initiated by fellow LGBT-group Stonewall, and has proved very popular. Having the slogan translated into Hebrew and displayed in a faith school in Barnet is a significant move.
Keshet works with youth movements and synagogues “to fight against homophobia, prejudice and ignorance”.
