The ‘Wrexham Schools Transgender Guidance’ was released last year as part of the local trans youth support project. It is based on and uses parts of the Brighton and Hove/allsorts youth project guidance. It has been altered to make a better fit for wales with the input of various North Wales LGBT organisations including Wipe Out Transphobia and Viva LGBT youth. This document was recommended by the Welsh Government to be taken up by schools across Wales in their recent ‘Transgender Action Plan’. Continue reading
