Transgender Guidance for Wrexham Schools 2015

The ‘Wrexham Schools Transgender Guidance’ was released last year as part of the local trans youth support project. It is based on and uses parts of the Brighton and Hove/allsorts youth project guidance. It has been altered to make a better fit for wales with the input of various North Wales LGBT organisations including Wipe Out Transphobia and Viva LGBT youth. This document was recommended by the Welsh Government to be taken up by schools across Wales in their recent ‘Transgender Action Plan’.

Kent LGBTQ Youth Report 2015

NUT Prevalence of Homophobia Survey Report

This Prevalence of Homophobia survey was born out of the experiences of one secondary classroom teacher who was the subject of repeated physical and verbal abuse over a number of years.

This survey is then the product of a lot of hard work by a large number of people over a number of years together the thousands of classroom teachers who took time from their impossible workloads to complete the questionnaire all of whom I congratulate and offer my sincere thanks.

Pride directed by Matthew Warchus has been selected to close Directors’ Fortnight at the 2014 International Cannes Film Festival on 23rd May.
Set in the summer of 1984, a group of LGBT activists decides to raise money to support the families of the striking NUM. But the Union seems embarrassed to receive their support.. Previous British films that have premiered in Directors’ Fortnight include Billy Elliot and East Is East.
