Training
Free, one hour, on-line training to help combat homophobic bullying in schools.
Gay and Lesbian Youth in Calderdale (GALYC) have developed this online training programme that includes fun activities such as a music quiz as well as lots of resources to help teachers tackle homophobic bullying.
Aimed at professionals working in schools, the purpose of the programme is to encourage workers to:
- be more aware of the key issues facing LGBT young people and the Public Sector Equality Duty
- find ways to support LGBT young people
